This sub-committee reports to the Environment and Planning
Committee and consists of 5 councillors. Members of the community may be co-opted to this
sub-committee. The committee meets at least three times per
year.
The committee has no delegated spending powers. Its purpose is to
ensure that the council fully recognises the current climate emergency and
implements its policy commitments to respond to this.
Meetings of the sub-committee will be held in public and
members of the public are welcome to attend and
