Committee details

This committee consists of 10 councillors and it meets every two months.

The committee is responsible for making observations on strategic planning matters and planning and development control applications. The committee also deals with matters concerning highways, transport, the environment and sustainability, public realm and public facilities.  The committee is also responsible for management of the council’s allotments, community orchard and market stalls.

All committee meetings are  held in public and we welcome observers.  Meetings usually start at 7.30 pm and are held at Newton Leys Pavilion, Furzey Way.
